PopUp Domination is a little script that will make a popup opt-in form window whenever someone visits your website. Purpose of this script is to higher up your subscription rate. It works on any website that has PHP and MySQL installed but it is mainly optimized for WordPress blogs (most popular blogging platform). This is actually review of the WordPress plugin version of the product.

You can choose from 11 professionally designed templates and many color schemes. Process is very simple because it is all done through WordPress settings tab (no programming required). See the screenshot below. Officially works with every popular mailing list provider out there like Aweber, GetResponse, iContact. I personally use GetResponse so I can’t tell for others. You can easily just copy and paste the opt-in form code provided by your provider into required field and you’re done and customize everything your potential customer see including template, texts and product image.

Popup can be set up in many ways. You can set up delay between two show ups (when will returning visitor see popup again) like every day or every five days. Delay between visitor’s arrival and pop-up show up (in seconds). Exact pages or categories of your blog you want to have pop up on. The last settings tab is “Advanced” tab. Don’t touch it unless you know what you are doing (however there is a “Restore original” button).

From my personal view the PopUp Domination has its downsides as well. I tested it on one of my affiliate websites and I can honestly tell you my opt-it rates went higher by 80% within first seven days. However, average time visitors spent on my site went down from 1:50 min to 0:35 min. Bounce rate went from 43% to 81% (the lower the better). Still, my overall sales went higher by 30%.

User experience will of course change from site to site, some will have higher opt-ins some lower but that’s just how it works. My experience of the product is very good for my investment in this product has returned like 400%.
